Cheapest Flight: PREP – Song of the Week

This week’s Song of the Week is Cheapest Flight by the infant band Prep!

Prep is a new quartet emerging from London, England. This is only the second published single to their name after Sunburnt Through the Glass, and to prove their infancy even further, their first ever gig was on 29th March – a show that was free entry. This is as new as it gets people.

This song, and this week (fingers crossed), calls in the beginning of any form of good weather for us in the UK right now. Cheapest Flight has a real good early-summer feel which I think comes from the simplicity running throughout, from the lyrics (that’s not an insult, by the way) to the singer’s tone to the background music.
